Abstract:

  1. This thesis is about the development of a bio inspired joint for space applications. The objectives of this project are the following: Design a monolithic mechanism using 3D printing
  2. Demonstrate its resistance to changing temperatures, void and UV radiation
  3. Demonstrate its fatigue resistance to a million cycles on a maximum angular range.
