The purpose of this study is to adapt the equipment of a
professional DownWind (DW) Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) Foil
Athlete Erwan JAUFFROY who had a creasy challenge in
mind: Crossing –thanks to a hydrofoil (sort of small airplane)
under is board- the 250 km distance between TOULON and
CORSICA Island (Figure 1-a). But without any engine or sail
(The FOIL CROSSING CHALLENGE). The goal is to
minimise energy consumption, with an emphasis on his lower
limb muscles.

Accuracy of a freediving mask for measuring heart rate (HR) and oxygen saturation (SPO2)
5 September 2024, by YJApnea is a sport in which ventilation is stopped in order to push your limits by staying underwater for as long as possible (static or dynamic). With ventilation cut off, the only available source of oxygen is the one present in the blood. Measuring oxygen saturation in the blood (SPO2) is therefore very important for assessing the health of divers and ensuring their safety (1). Freedivers SPO2 can drop to 50% before risking their lives (2, 3). Because of the extreme difficulty of taking (…)
