    Like every year, the MAPIEM laboratory will participate to the Science Festival (Fête de la Science).
    On Tuesday October 11th, 2018, 3 workshops will be organized in our facilities, hosted by 3 PhD students: "Mechanism of adhesion and biofilm production of a violet marine bacterium" (Emmanuel GOZOUA, room X509) "Flubber, the non-Newtonian fluid" (Isis CASTRO CABRERA, room X181) "Application of Super Absorbents in Agriculture" (Yacoub ELHADJ, Room X511)

    A workshop to learn more about Mediterranean algae!
    Benoît PAIX, PhD student, and his supervisor Gérald CULIOLI will lead a workshop, organized as part of the Nature Day, this afternoon at 2:30PM at the Park House in Porquerolles. It will offer visitors an interactive way to discover Mediterranean algae by observing microbes on their surfaces, but also the molecules produced by these algae.     25th April 2017 - "My PhD in 180s", Toulon edition.
    Clément DEZANET and Richard GUILLONNEAU, PhD students at MAPIEM, have participated to the event "My PhD in 180s", Toulon edition.
    Each participant had three minutes to present his or her research, to a non-specialist audience and a jury made up of researchers. The challenge: make their thesis topic easily understandable in clear, concise and convincing French and with the help of only one slide!
