Acronym: PARME
Short Overview: The aim of the PARM project is to design a robotic solution for the maintenance of steel infrastructures in complex situations, such as tanks, pipes, bilges of ships or certain areas of hydroelectric dams. These areas are so difficult or dangerous to access that operators are unable to maintain them (stripping, anti-corrosion treatment, painting), leading to colossal additional costs for their maintenance.
