Mechanical Structures & Human-structure interaction (MSH)

The mechanical behavior control of structures or products, allows to optimize them to meet the specific requirements of extreme environments such as the marine environment. In addition, the ability to take into account the interaction between man and structure improves the structures or products compatibility and a help to their choice.

  • Design and dimensioning of 3D printed structures (polymer or composite structures) for extreme environments such as the marine environment. Experimental and numerical approaches
  • Study of the interaction between human (user) and the product or structure to improve its compatibility with the user. Optimising products/structures performance and reducing the impact on humans (as exemple: minimising muscular effort).
