    Each participant had three minutes to present his or her research, to a non-specialist audience and a jury made up of researchers. The challenge: make their thesis topic easily understandable in clear, concise and convincing French and with the help of only one slide!

  • Biofouling & Antifouling V

    The 5th edition of the Biofouling & Antifouling workshop, organised by MAPIEM lab, will take place on April 26th, 2017, in the context of the Scientific Days of the University of Toulon.
    The approached themes will deal with antifouling regulations, biofouling effects on marine renewable energy resources and corrosion, biofouling & biofilms, antifouling coatings...

    Each year, the MAPIEM lab participates to the training of young volunteer firefighters from the fire station of La Garde.
    On Febrary 14th, 2019, Alexandre SALA and Nathan CARRIOT, PhD students, were the "consenting victims" of accidental simulated projections of corrosive chemicals on skin and eyes.

    Every three years, IFREMER organise an oceanographic expedition to draw up an inventory of pollution on the Mediterranean coast.
