Mahmoud HAYEK, awarded for his poster at 18th ICMCF

Mahmoud HAYEK, PhD student at MAPIEM, was awarded during the 18th ICMCF, for his poster : "Quorum Sensing" system characterization of Shewanella woodyi and its role in biofilm formation
after selection by an international selection board among 100 scientific posters. He was awarded the "Aquatic Biofilms" book, from Sergey Dobretsov. -
Damien REVEILLON, Best Poster Prize at 18th ICMCF

Damien REVEILLON, post-doc at MAPIEM, received the Best Poster Prize from Biointerphases (AVS), at the 18th ICMCF, in Toulon, FRANCE.
His poster : Exploiting the chemodiversity of tropical microalgae for the discovery of natural antifoulants through the BIOPAINTROP project
has been selected by an international selection board among 100 scientific posters. -
Biofouling & Antifouling V
10 March 2017The 5th edition of the Biofouling & Antifouling workshop, organised by MAPIEM lab, will take place on April 26th, 2017, in the context of the Scientific Days of the University of Toulon.
The approached themes will deal with antifouling regulations, biofouling effects on marine renewable energy resources and corrosion, biofouling & biofilms, antifouling coatings...

7th Workshop on Biofouling & Antifouling
17 March 2023Wednesday March 15th, 2023 - 9.am-5.pm - Palais Neptune, Toulon The MAPIEM laboratory organizes this year, the 7th Workshop on Biofouling & Antifouling as part of the 15th Scientific Day of the University of Toulon, on Wednesday March 15th, 2023 at the Palais Neptune in Toulon (9.am-5.pm).
The morning will be dedicated to plenary conferences.
Two parallel sessions will then be organized in the afternoon on "Biofilms & Biofouling" and "Antifouling coatings".
