Film Shooting in our lab
31 October 2016Our lab has been chosen as a movie set for the shooting of "Le Sang des Iles d’Or" (The blood of the Golden Islands).
For 2 days, our lab was the Forensic Science National Institute. 2 PhD students, Clément Dézanet and William René were hired as extras.

21 April 2017L’Université de Toulon recrute des attachés temporaires d’enseignement et de recherche (ATER) au titre de la session 2017.
Un poste d’ATER, MAPIEM/IUT est disponible, à temps complet, en section 67 (Biologie des populations et écologie).

Chemical accident simulation
27 February 2019Each year, the MAPIEM lab participates to the training of young volunteer firefighters from the fire station of La Garde.
On Febrary 14th, 2019, Alexandre SALA and Nathan CARRIOT, PhD students, were the "consenting victims" of accidental simulated projections of corrosive chemicals on skin and eyes.
These training exercises make firefighters aware of the particular risks encountered during interventions in chemistry laboratories. This is also the opportunity to remind to the laboratory (…) -
